THE HISTORY
Geraldo’s is Ayrshire’s only five-star rated tourist shop. We began trading in Largs in 2000 and rebranded in 2016 in honour of Owner & Managing Director Toni Dawson’s late father, Gerald.
Whisky has been a relatively new addition to our shelves, but over the years we’ve curated a unique collection from a range of distilleries and independent bottlers; some well-known names and some lesser-known gems.
Alongside our whisky we specialise in unique, luxury gifting including handmade chocolates, fine wines and spirits, gift hampers and specialist confectionery. We’re also renowned for our award-winning ice-cream – lovingly handmade on site!

As a small, family-owned business, each member of the team gets to know our products inside out, so we’re all able to help customers searching for the perfect dram. For extra expertise, though, our Whisky Ambassador, James, and our ‘Whisky Apprentice’, Ryan, are the men to go to! James is a true connoisseur of the ‘Water of Life’ and hosts regular training sessions with the team to keep us all up to speed on the latest happenings in the industry.
We’ve worked with Gleann Mòr Spirits for a number of years, stocking a variety of their brands, so taking on a selection of Rare Find whiskies was a no-brainer! We love the care and attention that goes into tracking down these rare and limited expressions, and our customers do, too.
