Bowmore is the first licensed Islay Distillery. On the shores of Lochindaal since 1779 it operates traditional distilling methods which honour whisky-making techniques and ensuring that the whisky produced is still hand crafted, with care and respect to create unparalleled single malts. 

This expression is a vintage from 1997, finished in a second fill Sherry Hogshead cask.
