Our Autumn Releases will be available through our range of trusted retail partners and trade stockists from 13th October. The Rare Find Autumn release is the result of a collaboration; an unwavering dedication to quality and rarity as we reveal the first spirit finished in casks sourced from Bodegas Barbadillo. Each expression produced from this partnership is a one-of-a-kind creation - a unique interplay of cask and spirit, historic and innovation. Bottled without compromise, these are whiskies that are the epitome of Rare Find.
OCTOBER 13 2025
On 10th October, within the majestic setting of Hopetoun House, Sotheby's and the Distillers' One of One charity hosted a truly extraordinary whisky auction.
Our contribution, “The Age of Change” — a celebration of 109 years of Scotch whisky heritage, brought to life through exquisite glass artistry, intricate woodwork, and bold contemporary design — achieved a winning bid of £20,000. Every penny of that goes directly to support Youth Action Scotland.
As a proud founding partner in this year’s event, Gleann Mòr Spirits was honoured to take part in the third edition of the auction, which raised an incredible £2.9 million. We’re even prouder that The Age of Change was one of 30 lots to set a new auction record on the day.
Here’s to 2027 — and to continuing to shape the future of Scotch whisky.

In 2022, Rare Find partnered with Barbadillo to create an elite sherry cask seasoning programme. Together, we developed a selection of casks that have been imbued with astonishing depth and oxidative richness - casks shaped by time, tradition, and the soul of Andalusia.
Today, the results of this collaboration are being unveiled - remarkable single malt Scotch whiskies that reflect the best of both Scotland and Spain. Aged with patience, enriched by legacy, and bottled with purpose, these expressions are a meeting point of rarity and heritage.

In May 2006, Hearts lifted the Scottish Cup in a moment etched into football history. That same month, deep in the Highlands, a single cask of Deanston whisky began its quiet journey - waiting 19 years to tell its story.
Now, that story is bottled: Deanston 19 Year Old Single Malt, drawn from Cask #11125, finished in a first-fill Oloroso seasoned quarter cask, and released at natural cask strength (57.7% ABV). Just 168 bottles exist. We are delighted to share this Rare Find with Heart of Midlothian FC this October.

2025 saw the 23rd Edition of Whisky Fringe, and with it comes the winner of the Spirit of Whisky Fringe Award. Each year since 2007, festival attendees have voted for their favourite dram of the festival and the winning bottle takes pride of place on Royal Mile Whiskies’ centre shelf, sitting on the SOWFA (a silver bottle coaster) until the next Whisky Fringe.
We were absolutely thrilled that for 2025, the winner chosen by attendees is the Rare Find Pulteney 17 YO. Though sold out at Royal Mile Whiskies, a number of our trusted partner stockists still have bottles remaining!

The 'Age of Change', donated to the Distillers’ One of One auction by Gleann Mor, marks 202 years since the 1823 Excise Act - the law that shaped Scotch whisky. The inaugural Rare Find Online Exclusive - only 145 bottles.
Our first online exclusive release is an exceptional 11-year-old from Craigellachie. This weighty and highly characterful Speyside single malt has had its sweetness amplified with an additional maturation in a 1st fill Oloroso sherry hogshead. Unmissably delicious!

Our Summer Releases will be available through our range of trusted retail partners and trade stockists from 7th July. With a first release from Annandale Distillery – a preview of an ongoing experiment into sherry barrique finishing and the utilisation of a rarely seen white port cask together with single malt from Wick’s Pulteney distillery as an exploration of the balance that is possible between sweetness and salinity.

We submitted four of our exquisite Rare Find whiskies to the IWSC - The International Wines and Spirits Competition - for 2025. Under the guidance of the esteemed Richard Paterson OBE, a highly respected figure in the Scotch whisky industry, we are excited to announce three of these awards right away, and we eagerly anticipate revealing the final award with our Summer Release.

The Whisk(e)y Wash, The Whisky Wire, The Spirits Business and Global Drinks Intel all covered our Spring Releases. We're excited to hear what they think of the liquid as tasting packs are en route to a selected group of whisky lovers.

The World Whiskies Awards are the global awards selecting the very best in all the international recognised styles, award and promote the world’s best whiskies to consumers and trade across the globe. We were delighted to receive three gold awards, three category winner awards and then, during the March 2025 final, the Best Scotch Islay small batch single malt.
