The Rare Find Autumn release is the result of a collaboration; an unwavering dedication to quality and rarity as we reveal the first spirit finished in casks sourced from Bodegas Barbadillo.
Barbadillo's historic sherry casks, steeped in centuries of expertise, bring with them an unmistakable depth and character. When matched with Rare Find's carefully selected single malt Scotch whiskies, the result is something genuinely special: whisky shaped by two cultures, thousands of miles apart, yet perfectly aligned in tradition, precision and purpose.
Each expression produced from this partnership is a one-of-a-kind creation - a unique interplay of cask and spirit, historic and innovation. Bottled without compromise, these are whiskies that are the epitome of Rare Find.
Benriach 9 YO
A rich nose of BBQ sauce, cocoa powder and a hint of herbal tea. The palate balances sweet and savoury with dark chocolate, raisin loaf, star anise and chilli flakes. The finish is medium-dry with clove and lingering chocolate.
Finished for 16 months in a first-fill, 12-month seasoned Oloroso barrique.
Secret Speyside 15 YO
A resinous nose with linseed oil, marmalade, and icing sugar. The palate shows pronounced sweet spices, caramel-coated hazelnuts, ginger and cinnamon biscuits. The finish is medium to long.
Finished for 10 months in a first-fill, 250L M+ toasted European oak hogshead that was seasoned for 24 months with the finest Oloroso Sherry at Bodegas Barbadillo.
Longmorn 16 YO
Aromas of stewed fruit, walnuts, beeswax, and candle smoke. The palate shows sweet notes of apple pie, toffee pennies, cinnamon rolls, and glacé icing, leading to an elegant finish with both sweetness and spice.
Finished for 10 months in a first-fill, 250L M+ toasted Spanish oak hogshead that was seasoned for 24 months with the finest Oloroso Sherry at Bodegas Barbadillo.
Tamdhu 16 YO
Golden syrup, vanilla pod, apple, and citrus on the nose. The palate is juicy and sweet with candied orange, milk chocolate, chewy toffee, and nutmeg. The finish is warm and sweet.
Finished for 10 months in a first-fill, medium-char American oak hogshead that was seasoned for 24 months with the finest Oloroso Sherry at Bodegas Barbadillo.
