Founded in 1973 the Braes of Glenlivet distillery - or Braeval, to avoid confusion - is sited on the pastures of the Livet glen, a stones throw from the Glenlivet distillery. Built on the mountain ridge, sharing its water source, the Pitilie Burn, with the highland based Aberfeldy at an altitude of 350m it earns the title of Scotland's highest distillery. This Rare Find was bottled in 2021 and retains the character of the peaty, and salty spirit from distillation.
