The Mortlach distillery in Dufftown was the first legal distillery of the seven in the area and the whiskies from cask there are famous for their fruity noses, sweet tasting and spicy palates. This expression in a Shiraz red wine cask was released in 2023 as a Rare Find by Greg Urquhart and fast became a sought after bottling.
