A first for Rare Find, this 25-year-old single-cask rum was distilled from molasses at Damoiseau Distillery on the Bellevue au Moule estate in Guadeloupe. Distilled in 1998 and later brought to the United Kingdom, it continued its maturation in a refill ex-bourbon cask. The long ageing has brought together tropical fruit, oak and concentrated sweetness while preserving the spirit’s distinctive identity. It broadens the Rare Find collection beyond whisky through the same principle: selecting an individual mature cask with provenance, character and a story worth presenting on its own.

Bellevue Distillery is located on the island of Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe and forms part of the Bellevue estate, whose history dates back to 1821. Situated within one of the island's biggest sugar cane estates it has earned recognition for its commitment to sustainable production practices.
Owned by La Martiniquaise, Bellevue combines modern production methods with a substantial annual output. Producing rhum agricole from fresh sugar cane juice, Bellevue's rums are noted for their balance of tropical fruit character, honeyed sweetness and subtle floral notes.
Bellevue is an intriguing source of spirit, for the opportunity it presents to showcase an individual cask at its best. Extended maturation can reveal exceptional depth and complexity, making mature examples an exciting addition to the Rare Find range.
