RARE FIND – THE DAVID GRAY CASK
This lightly peated Single Malt Highland Whisky was distilled at Tomatin distillery in 2009 and matured in a refill hogshead oak cask before a finishing period in first fill Pedro Ximenez cask. Bottled in January 2024, aged 14 years, this exceptional release boasts a finely balanced flavour profile with sweetness and a captivating smokiness. Lightly peated in style, this Rare Find captures the essence of Hibernian FC's enduring spirit.
Tasting Notes
AROMAS
The nose brings waves toffee apple, ginger, and a very gentle candle smoke.
TASTE
On the palate there is candied orange, cinnamon, and icing sugar.
OVERALL
A Beautifully balanced dram with the sweetness, fruit and smoke all intermingling for a warm medium finish.

Join David Gray and Greg Urquhart, Gleann Mòr Spirit Manager, at an exclusive Whisky Event, hosted in Easter Road Stadium Hospitality Suites.
A limited number of tickets are available for this opportunity to join Greg as he introduces the latest in the Legend's Series of Rare Find Single Malt releases. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink, before being taken through a whisky flight showcase of the previous editions from Franck Sauzée ‘Le Retour’ and Pat Stanton ‘Stanton’s Dram’ finishing on a serve of the newest release ‘The David Gray Cask’. Greg will talk with David about his own whisky journey and the process of selecting the cask for this exclusive special edition.
This package includes an individually numbered bottle of the Rare Find David Gray Cask, signed by David Gray himself and available to collect at the event.
On purchase you will receive a digital download flyer with the event details included. The date of the event is still to be confirmed but will be prior to the end of the 2023/24 season, hosted at Easter Road Stadium hospitality. Your bottle will be signed by David Gray and available to collect at the event. Arrangements can be made to ship the signed bottle to a UK address directly after the event if guests are unable to attend for any reason.
