The Dram Team
THE HISTORY
The Dram Team was launched in 2016 to deliver out-of-the-ordinary whisky tastings by post to subscription customers around the UK, introducing drinkers to new and exciting whiskies they probably hadn’t tried before.
Fast forward a few years and, in addition to their premium Tasting Club subscription, you can now “Find a new favourite” with their try-before-you-buy, choose-your-own-adventure tasting range, or indulge in the ultimate tasting tour of Scotland with The Dram Team Scotch Whisky Tasting Map.
Everything the Dram Team do is about helping people discover new whiskies they’ll love, and giving them an incredible tasting experience in the process.

Founder Chris Holden-Boyd did not have a long and storied relationship with whisky before starting The Dram Team. However, he quickly became fascinated by the allure of quality independent bottlings. There is something undeniably remarkable about sampling a single cask of excellent whisky that is bottled once, never to be released again: a truly unique tasting experience that cannot be replicated. And particularly appealing at cask strength!
It’s therefore not surprising that The Dram Team’s first ever “Incredible Indies” selection was sent out into the world as their third ever box, and just happened to feature a then “A Rare Find” Craigellachie 12 year old.
A full eight years later, and The Dram Team is very excited to be featuring Gleann Mor Spirits’ Rare Find range in their most luxurious tasting set to date: The Dram Team Scotch Whisky Tasting Map, designed to be an unbeatable at-home tasting tour of Scottish distilleries.
This stunning set includes the Rare Find Glenallachie 14 year old; a true sherry bomb, and a mind blowing introduction to the distillery’s spirit for The Dram Team’s intrepid whisky tourists.

This has to be the Glenallachie 14 Year Old. Besides being a wonderfully sherried whisky, the ABV of 62.3% really ensures this bottling packs a flavour punch.
