Located in the village of Knockando, Tamdhu is from the gaelic for "little dark hill". This is the only distillery to still malt all of its barley on site using mechanical saladin. Whisky from Tamdhu is well known for its sherry finish. This 20 year old expression was finished in a hand-picked Oloroso cask and produced only 245 bottles in vatting.
