In the depths of a cold December in 2014, a wee shop on Jeffrey Street (hence the name!) opened with a vision to offer the best customer service, experience and five-star whisky tasting experiences.
Jeffrey Street Whisky and Tobacco is an independent, boutique retailer offering fine whiskies, premium cigars and varieties of tobacco.
Built by folks who live in Edinburgh and want to share their love of whisky and Scotland with all who visit, the shop caters for both connoisseurs and newcomers alike. With a collection for sale online, regular whisky tastings available and a warm welcome to all they are sure to make a whisky-lover of anyone.

The team at Jeffrey Street is small but mighty! Composed of the three founders; Joanna, Daniel and Hector, and additionally the wonderful Emily, every purchase is handled in-house. While each of the team brings their own distinct palate to the table, they always find common ground when selecting the whisky for the shop. It's not just about what the team enjoys, but about curating options that customers will love.
For many years, Jeffrey Street have been loyal customers of Gleann Mor. The journey began when a team member visited the store personally to share the story of the journey, and of the early days of Rare Find. The Rare Find bottles have since become a cornerstone on the shelves in store - the team say it's a collection they couldn't imagine being without.

Recently, a 12-year-old Ledaig was introduced as part of the esteemed Rare Find collection, quickly becoming one of the standout favorites. For those who appreciate a unique, peat-smoked profile distinct from the boldness of Islay malts, this release has been especially captivating. Another remarkable addition to the range is the 10-year-old Mortlach, matured in Shiraz casks. Known as "The Beast of Dufftown," this Mortlach embodies an extraordinary depth and complexity, that set it apart in the world of fine whiskies.
