There is no shortcut to whisky like this. Thirty-plus years of maturation is a serious commitment. The decades have left their mark but so has everything that came before: the distillery, the spirit, the cask and the choices made along the way. At this age, provenance isn't a footnote - it's the story. And casks like these don't come around every day.
The Long Game is a collection of three exceptionally old and venerable single casks, spanning 34 to 38 years of maturation. Different distilleries. Different cask types. Different journeys. What unites them is what makes them rare: exceptional spirit with decades of provenance behind it.
A 36-year-old Macallan, drawn from a refill sherry butt - decades of maturation in a single, highly sought-after cask. A 38-year-old Tormore, matured in first-fill Oloroso barrique, where the depth of the spirit meets the richness of the cask. And a 34-year-old Deanston, drawn from a second-fill PX butt, allowing the distillery character to develop over more than three decades.
These aren't whiskies selected simply for the number on the label. They're casks that have made the years count – and that still have plenty to say.
